Elise's notes: We loved the richness of fruit and delicate structure of this one, so drinkable, just kept going back for more!! Syrah is one of my absolute favourite grapes!

Guide Hachette, Jancis Robinson 17/20

Elise's notes: Loved this one and such a gorgeous, smooth example of grenache, a lovely versatile grape that makes such drinkable wines. With 30% Lledoner Pelut, the first time I've come across this grape!

Domaine Treloar Three Peaks 2017

PDO Côtes du Roussillon red

(50% Syrah, 30% Mourvedre, 20% Grenache noir)

Alcohol 13.5%, Residual sugar 1.4g, pH 3.6, AT 3.5 Aged in oak barrels for 12 months.

Style: Heady nose, evoking peony, fresh fruit (strawberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant), fine woody background. Full mouth, very tender velvety, aromatic purity of fruit, flowers and wood.

Drink between 1 - 10 years

Guide Hachette **, Jancis Robinson 17.5, Parker 91

Elise's notes: A beautifully fresh red wine, we really enjoyed this one with our evening meal. The alcohol is reasonable for a southern French wine, and this is reflected in the lightness and freshness of the fruit flavours. The floral notes of the syrah are divine!
